Secure login help

MoneyPaks have industry-leading fraud protections. For this reason, MoneyPaks cannot be used anonymously. To use a MoneyPak, you must create a secure login during an easy one-time registration on your-moneypak.com. To create a secure login, you must provide some personal information, including your Social Security Number and mobile phone number, and select a password. Once you create a secure login, you can simply log in again to your-moneypak.com to quickly and conveniently deposit funds from a MoneyPak to an eligible prepaid or bank debit card.

To create a secure login, you must provide certain identification information, such as your name, Social Security Number, birth date, residential street address, email address, and mobile phone number. During registration, you must also verify your mobile phone number and allow Green Dot to send you text messages and collect information from your mobile device about your current location. You must also create a password. Keep your password safe to prevent others from logging into your account.

Additionally, some users may be asked to upload a photo ID so that we can verify their identity.

No. Each customer may only have one secure login. However, you can use the same secure login to make deposits to multiple cards with different MoneyPaks or deposit as a guest.

We will send a text message to your mobile device and you must reply “yes” to complete your verification. If you don’t receive the text, you can request another one to complete the process. Carrier message and data rates apply.

To keep your funds safe and help prevent fraud, we may require you to provide additional identity information and documents before you can use a MoneyPak. In those instances, you may be asked to upload a photo ID.

To upload your photo ID, please do the following:

  1. Using your mobile device in a well-lit area, take a clear photo of the front and back of your government-issued identification. Be sure to check that all four corners are in the frame.
  2. If you’re accessing your-moneypak.com with a mobile device, when prompted, select the identification photos from your photo album and upload them to the site. If you’re accessing your-moneypak.com
  3. with a computer browser, then you will need to email the photo ID pictures to yourself, then select the photo files and upload them. The upload may take a few seconds.
  4. Follow the website instructions and proceed until it says your photo ID was successfully submitted. If the image is unclear, review Step 1 and try again.

We usually complete the review within half an hour, but If your ID requires additional review it can take up to two business days.

If your ID qualifies for approval, we will send you a confirmation email. You may then come back to your-moneypak.com and enter the MoneyPak number again to deposit the funds to your card. If your ID is not readable, we will send you an email with instructions to come back and upload new images of your ID. If your ID does not qualify for approval, we will send you an email with instructions to request a refund.

If you already have a secure login, go to your-moneypak.com and click “LOG IN” in the top right corner (if you are on a mobile device, tap the menu icon on the top right of your screen). Use the same mobile phone number and password you used to create your secure login. Once you’re logged in, you will have the option to either add money to a new card or to a card you’ve already saved.

If you can’t remember your secure login information, click “TROUBLE WITH LOGIN” at the bottom of the login page. Once you fill out the form, click “SEND” and check the email you used when you created your secure login. You’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password.

MoneyPak Create Account

To use a MoneyPak, you must create a secure login during an easy one-time registration on your-moneypak.com. To create a secure login, you must provide some personal information, including your mobile phone number, and select a password.

MoneyPak verifies your identity by asking you to upload a photo ID. For this, you will need to take a clear photo if the front and back of your government issued ID. After that, follow the instructions on the website, and proceed until it says that your photo ID was successfully submitted.

MONEYPAK REFUND REQUEST. If your MoneyPak has not been used, you can submit a refund request by providing the information below. Refund checks typically arrive in the mail 1-2 weeks after your request is submitted. The MoneyPak purchase fee may not be refunded.

Important: Green Dot MoneyPaks take 1 hour to activate after your prepaid card purchase has been made. Repeated deposit attempts before the 1-hour MoneyPak activation period will cause your Greendot funds to be locked on your card for up to 24 hours.

  1. Buy a MoneyPak. Check that the debit card to be used accepts MoneyPak.
  2. Create a secure login. First-time users will need to create a Secure Login on your-moneypak.com.​
  3. Complete the deposit. Enter the MoneyPak number and 16-digit prepaid or bank debit card number to add the funds.

To reload your Walmart MoneyCard with a MoneyPak, create a secure account on MoneyPak's website, follow the prompts to verify your mobile number, then enter your Walmart MoneyCard number.

Fees and limits You can put any amount of money into a MoneyPak ranging from $20 to $500. At Walmart, you can add up-to $1000. Each MoneyPak has its own convenience fee of $4.95. For security reasons, PayPal restricts the amount you can add through MoneyPaks to $4000 per month.

Requirements and conditions for using a MoneyPak

Funds can be deposited to any eligible, activated debit card through your-moneypak.com. Prepaid cards must be personalized with cardholder's name. See if your card is eligible. Purchase fee is non-refundable.

Yes, you can use MoneyPak without an account or registering simply by entering your MoneyPak number and card number where you would like your funds deposited in the secure form on your-moneypak.com "Guest Deposit" page.
